A fire started tonight in a clothing container on the Balingerbrink in Emmen. The fire brigade had to force the top of the container to be able to extinguish the fire.
When the container was opened, the flames rose. A short extinguishing action by the fire brigade was enough to extinguish the fire. Arson as the cause of the fire cannot be ruled out.
