FC Volendam will practice against AEK Athens at 7 p.m. The match will be played behind closed doors at the Alkmaarsche Boys complex, but through NH Sport you will not miss anything. We will broadcast the match live.
For FC Volendam it is the fourth game in the practice campaign. Previously, the team of trainer Wim Jonk played against SV De Rijp (8-0 win), KRC Genk (3-2 win) and NAC Breda (0-0). Next week, Volendam will conclude its preparations with a practice match at ADO Den Haag. That match will also be decided.
AEK Athens
AEK Athens finished fifth in the Greek league last season. At twelve-time champion, Nordin Amrabat and former AZ player Muamer Tankovic are under contract. Amrabat was born in Huizen and ended up via Ajax’s youth academy at PSV, Galatasaray, Málagá and Watford, among others. AEK Athene is at a training camp in Alkmaar and has already practiced against Genk (0-2 win).
