He is one of the best beach volleyball players in Germany. Now Clemens Wickler has shared moments from his special end of the year.
Great news at the end of the year: German beach volleyball star Clemens Wickler has married his partner Franzi. The Olympic silver medalist in Paris announced this on Instagram with a beautiful series of photos. Wickler wrote about the snapshots: “For a lifetime yes.” Behind it he posted three white hearts.
In the first picture, the couple can be seen as the beach volleyball player kisses his partner in a romantic moment on a meadow. Wickler wears an elegant brown suit with a white shirt. The bride wore a classic white dress with transparent sleeves and a long veil. In the background you can see a rural backdrop with bare trees and a slightly cloudy sky.
Wickler shared more photo moments from the wedding, including from the celebration. His wife later wore a short dress and white sunglasses in the shape of two hearts. The mood seems relaxed and happy. Numerous companions and fans congratulated the newly married couple.
The wedding itself probably took place before Christmas. On December 23rd, Wickler shared a short video of the wedding celebration and wrote that wedding spam would follow. This has now happened.
Wickler won silver with his partner Nils Ehlers at the Olympic Games in Paris last year. The 30-year-old was also runner-up in the world championships in 2019 and was German beach volleyball player of the year in 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023. This year he took fourth place at the World Championships with Ehlers.
