Thousands of people gathered yesterday in the heart of Manhattan in New York City to see one of the most famous Christmas trees in the world twinkling. The tree, a spruce of no less than 25 meters high and 90 years old, is equipped with 50,000 LED lights and will once again be displayed in Rockefeller Center this year. Now that the lights have been lit, the holidays have officially arrived.
