As usual, the Christmas Corrida consisted of several distances: five kilometers, ten kilometers or fifteen kilometers. For the first time, all three distances were completely full. “We have exceeded 4,000 participants for the first time, the first time in 41 years. We used to be satisfied with 3,000, but this year there was a huge boost,” says Marc De Smyter, organizer of the Christmas Corrida.
This may be due to the date: the Christmas holidays have started and the secondary exams are over.
