Christian Ziege has been widowed for three months now. The former international and European champion lost his wife after a serious illness. The 53-year-old commemorates his Pia several times these days. At the beginning of the week he posted a black and white photo of her in his Instagram story and wrote: “Still dont get it”, in German: “I still can’t believe it.”
Yesterday, Wednesday, he congratulated his son on his birthday and shared a photo of him and his late wife. He also commented: “Happy Birthday my son. I love you”, in German: “Congratulations on my birthday my son. I love you.”
In addition, he wrote in white script on a black reason: “Your mum and you, Nothing Left to Say …”, In German: “Your mother and you, I don’t have to say more …”
The couple had been married since 1997, experienced many heights and a few depths in more than 25 years. Two weeks ago, Christian Ziege had to celebrate his birthday without Pia.
