Hannover 96 takes the next attempt towards the Bundesliga. With a new trainer, as the club officially announced.
Christian Titz from 1st FC Magdeburg will be the new coach of the second division Hannover 96. The club officially did this on Sunday. 96 sports director Ralf Becker: “In recent years, Christian Titz has impressively demonstrated that he can make both teams and individual players better, further develop and successfully lead through a season.”
And further: “It was also part of the conversations that a focus of the work will be the close integration with our 96 academy. We are convinced that Christian will fit Hannover 96 very well with his personality, his approach and his game idea.”
Titz worked in Magdeburg for four and a half years and led the former European Cup winner during this time from the relegation battle of the 3rd division into the top group of the 2nd Bundesliga. He should now also bring this continuity and his offensive style of play in Hanover. Before his time in Magdeburg, Titz looked after Hamburger SV, among others.
Christian Titz: “I am grateful that I have been given the trust and responsibility to take over the coaching office at Hannover 96. Now I am very excited to meet the team and the team around it, and I look forward to the city and the people in the vicinity of the club, which we want to integrate and take from the start of our way together. I look forward to starting our training start next Saturday.”
