The Chinese army started this morning (local time) with a large -scale military exercise around Taiwan. In addition to the army, the Navy and Air Force also participate in the exercise. The maneuvers are “legitimate and necessary to protect China’s sovereignty and national unity,” says a Chinese army spokesperson.
