A chimney at a house on the Groningerweg in Paterswolde was on fire tonight. The fire brigades of Eelde and Groningen are on site to sweep the chimney channel.
According to bystanders, there was smoke in the house when firefighters arrived. The house was ventilated to clear the smoke. There is an aerial platform on site to sweep the chimney.
The road is partially closed due to the fire.
