The personnel changes at Galeria do not end.
After several changes at the top of the company, the Chief Supply Chain Officer is now leaving the department store group. Moritz Winter said goodbye to his role last week at his own request and in the best way of agreement, as the outgoing manager announced on Monday at the LinkedIn career network.
“It was a challenging, but also incredibly exciting time – characterized by transformation, team spirit and working together on a better future for one of the most traditional trading companies in Germany,” Winter wrote in his contribution. “I am grateful for the experiences I was able to gain, and especially for the many committed college: inside with which I could work.”
Winter came to the department store group that was still based in Essen in 2022 as Director Supply Chain Management. A year later he was appointed Chief Supply Chain Officer and thus also a member of the management.
He began his career in 2005 as a consultant in the central corporate development of the Peek & Cloppenburg KG Düsseldorf, where he co-developed a controlling system for a subsidiary of the group. He then worked for the Peek & Cloppenburg Group Düsseldorf for many years – including as managing director of Mode Logistik GmbH & Co. KG and the fashion service BV & Co. KG. There he was responsible for the entire supply chain and instore logistics at over 90 locations in several countries.
