Cher confirmed rumors about her new lover Alexander Edwards on Sunday (November 6). The 76-year-old was spotted with the 36-year-old music manager at a restaurant in Hollywood on Wednesday (November 02). On Sunday, she shared a picture of Edwards with the caption “Alexander” plus a heart emoji, and also penned a separate tweet in response to long-running rumors that she has a new boyfriend.

“I’m not defending us. Haters gonna hate… never mind as we’re happy and not bothering anyone,” Cher wrote tonight after sharing Edwards’ picture.

The couple reportedly ate dinner with rapper Tyga and then went to a bar afterwards. Alexander Edwards previously dated model Amber Rose, and they have a son together named Slash Electric Alexander Edwards, 3.

Cher had her eldest son Chaz, now 53, with Salvatore “Sonny” Bono. Both were married from 1964 to 1975 and released numerous albums as a pop duo. Chaz Bono was born in 1969 as a woman and, as a trans man, is also involved in the lesbian and gay movement in addition to his acting. Cher’s second son is singer Elijah Blue Allman, born in 1976, whom she had with Gregg Allman. They were married from 1975 to 1979.
