Third club in Brazil

Brazilian newcomers Chapecoense have secured the services of Yannick Bolasie. For the former Premier League professional, it is the third club in Brazil since moving to Criciúma in 2024. He last played at Cruzeiro, where his contract ended.
After the tragic plane crash in 2016, in which almost the entire team died, Chapecoense was relegated from the first division in 2019. Third in the Série B, they returned to the top division in 2025 under Gilmar Dal Pozzo. Bolasie signed a contract until the end of the season.
