European football will continue to play on Sky and NOW until 2031. Sky has in fact also acquired for the four-year period 2027-2031 the exclusive rights to broadcast on all platforms 184 of the 203 Champions League matches per season, 189 Europa League matches and 153 Conference League matches. Prime Video has secured the rights to broadcast the best Wednesday match of the Champions League in Italy and Germany, as well as the rights to the best Tuesday match in the United Kingdom and Ireland, in a four-year deal from the 2026-2027 season up to and including 2031. This is the comment from Alex Green, Managing Director of Prime Video Sport International: “The combination of unmissable matches and the widespread distribution of Prime is leading to record viewing figures for the Champions League across Europe, and we will continue to further raise the quality of our coverage.
