The Foreign Affairs Chamber Committee will hold a hearing with the competent ministers about the situation in Gaza on 14 August. Commission President Els van Hoof (CD&V) had convened the MPs in urgency now that the international pressure opposite Israel is increasing every day due to the possible recognition of Palestine by France and the United Kingdom. In addition to Foreign Minister Maxime Prévot (Les Engagés), MPs would also like to hear Prime Minister Bart De Wever (N-VA).
