Lupita Nyong’o took the photo in 2018 while on a press tour in Seoul with the rest of the Black Panther cast. “We spent a wonderful 72 hours there and the memory of it fills me with so much joy. Death is hard to understand, maybe even harder to accept. But the love that springs from his life will inspire every anniversary of his absence. Chadwick may no longer be in our photos, but he will always be in our hearts,” recalls the actress, who plays Nakia in the Black Panther films.
