Charlotte Werner says goodbye to her role as CEO of Giambattista Valli.
Werner worked for three years at the Italian fashion house, which has been part of Kering’s parent company Artémis since 2017. Now she has decided to take on a new challenge, said Werner in a post on the career network Linkedin.
“I am very proud of what we have achieved with the team. I started my journey with Maison 2020, in the middle of the Covid crisis,” wrote Werner. “We overcame significant challenges, grew the team, expanded our geographic and product footprint, established and expanded our online presence, and positioned the company for growth.”
The outgoing managing director came to Giambattista Valli from Louis Vuitton in 2020. She worked at the French luxury fashion house for almost five years, most recently as Manager of the Women Leather Goods Collection & Transversal Projects. It is not yet known where she will go next and who will take her place at the helm of Giambattista Valli.
