CEO leaves lingerie specialist after 15 years

Philip Mountford is resigning from his position as CEO at Hunkemöller.

After almost 15 years as head of the Dutch lingerie supplier, he is leaving the company at the end of January 2024, Mountford announced on the LinkedIn industry network on Thursday. “Today I pushed the elevator button and sent the elevator down to the next generation of leaders […]”, says the Hunkemöller boss. It is not yet known who will enter “the elevator”.

Mountford joined in April 2009 from UK men’s outfitters Moss Bros Group Plc. to Hunkemöller, where he was most recently CEO. Further stations were the brands Versace, Nautica and Daks, where he worked in management positions. In addition to his role as Hunkemöller CEO, he is Chairman of the occasion wear supplier Needle & Thread and Non-Executive Director of the underwear suppliers Dorina and Scandale Eco-lingerie.
