THE HAGUE – If a municipality continues to refuse to change the destination of a building that can function as an asylum seekers center (azc), the cabinet will do so. The government would prefer not to see this happen, but will keep this instrument ready from now on. That is what State Secretary Eric van der Burg (Asylum) and Minister Hugo de Jonge (Public Housing and Spatial Planning) write to the House of Representatives.
