The celebrities queue up for a personality program in which they ‘discover worlds’, interview people and preferably also travel the entire planet. Unfortunately for those celebrities, the audience is no longer really waiting for all those ego shows. They flop one by one: after Lauren Verster it is now also Ajouad El Miloudi’s turn.

Ajouad disappoints

Ajouad’s program, titled #Ajouad, attracted only 183 thousand viewers (4 percent market share) to NPO 3 last night. And that while the presenter is after the best-scoring program of the channel: Keuringsdienst van Waarde immediately attracted 671 thousand viewers ( 13 percent).

What makes it even more painful for Ajouad? The program after him also attracted more attention: Reizen Waes could count on 300 thousand viewers (7 percent). The viewer cannot make it any clearer.

What does Tina say?

Tina Nijkamp, the most important viewing figure expert in the Benelux, finds it painful. “Ajouad’s ‘investigative report series’ attracted only 183,000 viewers and caused a major dip in programming. Also in the commercial target group three times less share than KVW: 16.2 versus only 5.0 percent. Aye.”

She continues: “Time and time again it becomes clear that viewers no longer like to watch ‘personality research programmes’. After Lauren the second flop this week in this genre for NPO 3”, she says.

What does Angela say?

Angela de Jong is also not enthusiastic. She writes that it was convenient, because she just felt like getting annoyed by a TV show. “I flipped around in vain to see if I might run into Fons de Poel in a talk show, or else Jesse Klaver.”

She continues: “Ronald Molendijk, who shows up in HLF8 or Shownieuws for one of his fallen celebrity friends, always good too. But I found #Ajouad on NPO 3. That title alone, with that more affectionate, meaningless hashtag. Just act normal, guys.”

What did she think of it? “I had to run for a bowl.”

Jeroen wins

The big winner on prime time was Jeroen van Koningsbrugge with 1.1 million viewers (23 percent) for Kamp Van Koningsbrugge. Immediately afterwards, Louis had 846 thousand (19 percent) left.

Silver goes to RTL 4: Secret Duets attracted 927 thousand viewers (20 percent). Furthermore, most people watched Today Inside, good for 847 thousand viewers (19 percent) on SBS 6.
