PvdA/GroenLinks (4 seats) is mainly looking for young people who want to become active for the party. Selection committee member Bert Wiersema: “You notice that the climate around politics is changing. But I have good hope, we are looking for four people and especially young people.”
Opposition party List Groen Noordenveld (LGN), good for 3 seats, finds it too early to really say something about it. “We are in good shape, but I don’t know what will happen in the coming six months,” said party secretary Henk Koekoek.
The Christian Union (1 seat) is busy preparing. “But for the time being I have not heard that it takes effort,” said Geranda de Haan party leader.
Bee D66 (1 seat) Members can first apply as a party leader, in a few weeks that is possible for the rest of the list. “I don’t think it will be a problem,” explains Frederik van Lookeren campaign party leader.
