ARK Invest with a mega price destination for Bitcoin
According to ARK Invest, this ambitious forecast is based on a more experimental modeling method that uses Bitcoin’s on -chain transparency, “to appreciate the liquid offer of Bitcoin – which we call ‘active’ offer – by deducting lost or long -held coins”, according to an article by analyst David Puell on the website of the investment company. Institutional demand and digital gold as the main driver for Bitcoin price

The focus is primarily on the investments of institutional investors-especially via Bitcoin-Spot-ETFs-, the status of Bitcoin as a digital gold, the increasing use of Bitcoin in emerging countries as well as in state finances and company balance sheets and the development of Bitcoin on-Chain-Finanz- Services, which are intended to increasingly replace traditional finance.
The optimistic outlook from ARK Invest is closely linked to the assumption that Bitcoin is increasingly being accepted by a broad basis for investors. According to the expectations of Cathie Wood’s investment company, institutional investors in particular should invest around 6.5 percent of its portfolios in Bitcoin in the future – a development that is promoted primarily by the approval of spot ETFs and growing trust in digital assets. The increasingly important role of Bitcoin as a safe port in emerging countries is also considered by ARK Invest as a driving factor for the price, if not to as great as institutional adoption. In many regions of emerging markets with economic instability, political corruption and high inflation, people should increasingly turn to Bitcoin due to their value -conservation properties.
In addition, ARK Invest expects companies to keep Bitcoin more – similar to how the US company Strategy has been successful for several years. At the end of 2024, according to ARK, 74 listed companies already held Bitcoin with a total value of around $ 55 billion. In addition, according to the investment company, other countries will also follow the example of the United States and build a national bitcoin reserve.
Nevertheless, according to David Puell, these factors do not all have the same weight in the modeling. “Digital Gold most contributes to our bear and base scenario, while institutional investments make the most contribute to our bull scenario. Interestingly, state and corporate funds and decentralized financial services from Bitcoin contribute relatively little in all cases”.
2.4 million US dollars per Bitcoin? How realistic is the ARK Invest price goal?
Since ARK Invest speaks of an experimental evaluation method itself at the Bitcoin course goal of $ 2.4 million and officially remains with the significantly lower, but still high goal of $ 1.5 million for cryptocurrency in 2030, it can be assumed that even within the investment company, there can be doubts that the Bitcoin can actually rise so quickly and so highly.
