On World Cancer Day, February 4, Princess Catherine of Wales released a touching video in which she talks about her own cancer.
Hovi announced Catherine’s cancer in March 2024. Currently, the cancer is reportedly in remission.
– There have been moments of fear and exhaustion, but also moments of strength, kindness and deep connection, Catherine describes in the video.
Catherine also says that cancer affects many people, not only those affected by cancer, but also families, friends and caregivers. At the same time, he says that World Cancer Day is a reminder of the importance of treatment, understanding and hope.
The video was filmed at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London, where Catherine herself was treated. He acts as the patron of the hospital.
So Catherine’s cancer is currently known to be in remission.
– It’s easier to be in remission. I am still focused on recovery. As anyone who has experienced cancer knows, adjusting to a new normal takes time. However, I’m looking forward to what’s to come.
