Lto the IEO-MONZINO Foundation is one of the great medical excellences of our country, with its two hospitals and related research teams it allows not only to treat thousands of people but also to advance international research in the medical oncology and cardiology fields. But to continue on the road to excellence, we also need the help of the generosity of others. For this reason, a Christmas Gala for Research is held in Milan every year, which this year has raised 245,000 which will be donated 100% by research.

The Christmas Gala for Research 2023
The special dinner dedicated to donors, doctors and researchers and to all those who have been and are close to the Foundation and the two Milanese institutes and have shared and supported the valuable goals from 1994 to today. Thanks to the companies that sponsored the evening and to the generosity of the 400 guests of the dinner who enthusiastically participated in the silent auction proposed through the Charity Stars digital platform, which offered high fashion and furnishing accessories, works of art, jewels, dream stay experiences, objects and experiences related to sport . The funds raised will directly contribute to research activity of the European Institute of Oncology and of the Monzino Cardiology Centerthe two realities of excellence of Italian medicine in the world.
The bubbly TV presenter Caterina Balivo conducted the eveningflanked by the Foundation’s Special Ambassador, Roberta Ruiuwith a parterre of guests who generously enlivened the evening with their voices: Chiara Galiazzo accompanied by her guitarist Alessandro Galdieri, Marianne Mirage on her six string and the “cantaflorist” Rosalba Piccinni performed some captivating songs to the delight of those present who welcomed them warmly.

During the evening Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, President of the IEO-MONZINO Foundation he has declared: “I would like to remind you of our main objective: to raise resources to support the fundamental research work of researchers, men and women and doctors of two excellences in our country, the European Institute of Oncology and the Monzino Cardiology Centre. Our intent is to transform contributions into discoveries, innovative therapies and cutting-edge diagnostic systems, in the context of a direct path from the laboratory, to the ward, to the patient’s bed.
