The Saragossa Cadet and Children’s National Team Campionat d’Espanya has reached its final point and the Catalan expedition returns with three medals to the bag and a five-fold demonstration, once again, of the good work that is fa in Catalan Basketball.
First thing in the morning, the Catalan Children’s Men’s Team led by Xavi Orois, along with Jordi Amigó, Ivet Estany and Ingrid Labrador as assistants, won the gold medal and the championship in overcoming a defensive exhibition by the Comunitat Valenciana (59-37) at Pavelló Siglo XXI. The bronze medal was awarded to the Community of Madrid, which defeated Galícia (74-55).
Afterwards the turn of the nights has arrived. First in the Children’s category, the team directed by Sergi Llurba with Laura Díaz, Lluís Pino and Anna Matas of assistants, has defeated in the bronze medal Castella i Lleó (68-44) at the Pavelló Liceo Europa demonstrating that the team has been growing during the championship. The champions were the Community of Madrid, which governed Andalusia (59-56).

Finally, in the Men’s Cadet category, the team led by Carles Rofes with Paula Pla, Jordi Duran and Ari Ortega of assistants, who will be left out of the final quarters, has won the championship with a five-year lead after defeating Galícia (77-72) at the Pavelló CN Helios. The winner in the cadet category was the Community of Madrid, which surpassed the Community of Valencia (87-67).
