Colin Browne will step down as CEO of Cascale at the end of July 2025.
The organization announced that his departure was based on a personal decision on Thursday. Browne led a phase of strategic repositioning within the organization last year.
“Colins stable leadership was crucial for the strengthening and realignment of Cascale,” said Tamar Hoek, Chair of the Board of Directors. “He laid a solid foundation for the future, and we are very grateful for that.”
In the past twelve months, Cascale introduced a new impact strategy, expanded cooperation with international producers, took over the asset of the Better Buying Institute and worked on industry -wide initiatives in the field of decarbonization. The current course and the priorities remain.
“This was an educational and inspiring journey,” said Browne. “I am proud of what we have achieved together and I am confident that the team will continue working with the same commitment. The Mission of Cascale is more urgent than ever.”
The organization started an international search for a successor. Until then, the current management team is responsible for the daily management and the progress of the strategy.
“This is not a restart, but a sequel,” said Hoek. “Strong organizations are growing through changes. Cascale continues to work for measurable effects in the value chain – and we look forward to the future.”
