Cas printed hornet traps and PSV are champions: you shouldn’t miss this

A 13-year-old boy from Eindhoven uses his 3D printer in the fight against the Asian hornet. Cas Barrois helped beekeeper George Guns by printing more than fifty traps after a call in the neighborhood app. The Asian hornet is advancing rapidly in Brabant: the number of nests rose from 164 in 2023 to almost 4,000 in 2025. Beekeeper Guns insists on quick action, because he believes it will be too late in August.
