Carbon budget to keep warming earth under 1.5 percent within three years used up

The remaining carbon budget to keep global warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius will be used up within three years. This is evident from a new study published in the scientific journal ‘Earth System Science Data’, reports the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) today.
