Last night, a motorist crashed his car from the Assen-Noord exit of the A28 motorway onto the roadside. That happened around half past one. Two people were checked by ambulance personnel, but did not need to be taken to hospital.
The car came to a stop on the verge between the entrance and exit of the A28. It is not known what caused this to happen. The exit was closed to traffic for a while after the accident.
