From January to May 2025 the EU market is down 0.6%. But in the last two months the positive sign on sales has returned. Hybrides dominate
The sign is less and less but the negative trend is slowing down compared to the previous months. The car market in Europe loses 0.6% of the new sales in the first five months of 2025 compared to the same period of 2024. The European Acea manufacturers association reports it. In total from January to May 2025 in the 27 countries of the European Union 4,566,970 new cars were sold against 4,594.302 of 2024.
