An accident happened this evening on the Hoofdweg in Smilde. A car ended up on its side on the cycle path.
The fire brigade is working to stabilize the car. It is not known how the accident could happen. It is also not known whether anyone was injured.
The Hoofdweg is completely closed and traffic is diverted via the bridge to the Kanaalweg.
