Car insurance costs young people: ‘If you are under twenty, you pay almost 3,000 euros per year’

Young people are spending more and more money on car insurance. Anyone between the ages of 18 and 20 now has to pay an average of almost 3,000 euros per year. That is almost 400 euros, or 15 percent, more than in the first quarter of last year. This is evident from an analysis by comparison website Autoverzekering.nl.
