The Philadelphia Eagles prevailed against the Washington Commanders and are in the Super Bowl. Afterwards a car drove in fans in the city.
In the evening after the Philadelphia Eagles moved into the Super Bowl, there was an incident in the city in which three people were injured. A driver drove into a group of fans who celebrated the victory of their team. The accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. local time.
As the police from Philadelphia announced on platform X, the driver of the vehicle was detained. However, the investigation indicates that there was no intention behind the crime.
The US news agency AP refers to the police that the three injured pedestrians had previously visited the Eagles game against the Washington Commanders. Fortunately, none of the victims had been seriously injured.
On the sporting level, the day for the fans of the Eagles had started much more gratifying: the team prevailed in the playoff game with a sovereign 55:23 against the Washington Commanders. This secured the Eagles to enter the final on February 9, which will take place in New Orleans. There the team meets the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs for Superstar Quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
