A car crashed into a tree on Willem van Oranjelaan in Breda on Saturday afternoon. The driver was arrested after a breath test and taken away by the police.
The accident happened on a gentle bend, where the driver left the road. The car first drove through the side of the road and then swerved into a tree. The entire front of the vehicle was destroyed.
Driver without serious injuries
The damage to the car is extensive and the tree is also severely damaged. The driver was assessed at the scene by ambulance personnel and escaped without serious injuries. After the breath test, officers took him to the police station.
There was a lot of debris around the car and the tree. The broken car will later be picked up by a recovery company.
