The vehicle grazed a house on the Schans and came to a stop on the road. The single-vehicle accident happened around 7 p.m. Part of the street has been closed off for emergency services.
“We are investigating how the accident could have happened and whether, for example, alcohol was involved,” a police spokesperson said. “Furthermore, this concerns material damage, so it is an insurance issue.”
It is being investigated whether the resident can still remain in the home.
