A serious accident happened on the Kanaaldijk Noord in Someren on Tuesday evening. There, a car collided with a trailer, which was suspected to have come loose, full of white goods. The trailer had ended up on the wrong side of the road.
A third driver then drove into the wreckage. One of the drivers, an unknown woman, was trapped by the pile-up. An air ambulance was called to assist the victim.
The woman was injured, although the severity of her injuries is not yet known. The other driver escaped unharmed. The road was closed for investigation.
