The German slalom canoeist Andrea Herzog (23) from Meissen narrowly missed victory at the World Cup in La Seu d’Urgell/Spain. The Olympic bronze medalist in 2021 and world champion in 2022 ended up just 0.08 seconds behind Tokyo winner Jessica Fox from Australia in the final, third was Kimberley Woods (+1.93 / Great Britain).
In the men’s race, the two representatives of the German Canoe Association (DKV), Stefan Hengst and Noah Hegge, failed in the preliminary heat.
