Cancellation button now mandatory at online stores: ‘Undoing your purchase should be as easy as buying’

An online purchase can often be initiated with one click. From next week, online stores must also prominently have a button with which consumers can quickly cancel a purchase. If online stores provide too little information, the normal statutory cooling-off period is extended to no less than one year.
