Canadian backpacker (19) drowns after dingoes chase her into the sea: ‘Piper loved all animals’

She said she went swimming but never came back. Canadian backpacker Piper James was found dead in January on the beach of K’gari, the Australian island formerly known as Fraser Island. Her death was the result of drowning following an attack by dingoes, the justice system in Queensland state confirmed.
