There are many moral questions related to fashion and clothing purchases. Nowadays, more clothes are bought than before and worn for a shorter period of time, and the carbon footprint of fast fashion in particular is considerable, WWF tells.
Manufacturing clothes consumes energy, water and non-renewable natural resources, Finnish Textile and Fashion Association says on his website. The association also points out that placing textile fibers in an unequivocal order of priority is impossible, because they have very different properties. The consumer can sometimes be confused by the choices if he wants to act correctly.
