On September 2nd, 2022, the series “The Rings of Power” will start on Amazon Prime Video, which will provide part of the prequel to “Lord of the Rings”. Hundreds of years before the events of the One Ring, the Rings of Power must first be forged before Sauron can use them to bring chaos and destruction to Middle-earth. Despite the enormous leap in time, we encounter some familiar faces in the series. But the production also leads into a previously unseen part of Tolkien’s world.
