Camembert recalled due to possible presence stec, no link with retirement homes

The French food company Gillot, in collaboration with the French Direction Départementale de L’Emploi, du Travail, des Solidarités et de la Protection des Populations (DDETSPP), has decided to remove Camembertkaas from the shelves because of the possible presence of E. Coli Stec. The company reports this in a press release on Wednesday. According to the FASFC, there are “no indications at the moment that there is a link” with the infections in the residential care centers.
