HC Footwear GmbH, which is, among other things, the license partner for shoes from Camel Active, has filed for bankruptcy.
The bankruptcy became known through a statement by Camel Active, which was communicated on Wednesday. It states that Bültel Worldwide Fashion GmbH & Co. KG is informed about the insolvency agreement of HC Footwear.
Bültel holds the license for Camel Active in Europe, Middle East and Africa and has a sub-license agreement with HC Footwear.
The Bütel Group is now working on a solution to be able to offer shoes as part of the Camel Active product portfolio in the future.
HC Footwear GmbH cannot provide any further information “in the current situation”, according to FashionUnited.
