Calida Group brings top executives from Richemont and Skyscanner to its board of directors

The Swiss clothing group Calida Holding AG is planning personnel changes in the board of directors. On Thursday, the company announced that Patricia Gandji and Laurence Bourdon-Tracol would be new members of the board. According to a statement, both would stand for election at the forthcoming General Assembly on April 14. Nathalie Gaveau and Marco Gadola, who “are no longer standing for re-election”, will resign from the Board of Directors.

Patricia Gandji holds the position of Chief People Officer at the Swiss luxury goods group Compagnie Financière Richemont SA (Richemont) and has also been in charge of business in the Europe and America regions as CEO since 2017. “With over 25 years of experience in the luxury goods and fashion industry, Patricia Gandji is a performance-oriented leader who brings global experience in advancing brands through innovative and digital strategies to the Calida Group,” the group said.

Laurence Bourdon-Tracol has been CFO at online travel company Skyscanner Ltd since 2021. Previously, she had held various positions at e-commerce specialist Ebay Inc. in Switzerland and the USA. “As a recognized and internationally experienced expert in corporate finance and management, she is predestined to drive forward the further transformation of the Calida Group,” says a statement.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Hans-Kristian Hoejsgaard welcomed the nominations of the two managers: “I am very pleased that Patricia Gandji and Laurence Bourdon-Tracol are making themselves available for election to our Board of Directors,” he said in a statement. “The two experienced executives will complement the existing expertise of the Board of Directors in a profitable way and further strengthen the diversity in our body.”
