Due to a calculation error, the Tax and Customs Administration has paid tens of millions of euros too much to the provinces. It concerns the part of the motor vehicle tax that goes to the provinces. “We have constructive conversations with the provinces about how we can solve this in a good and practical way,” said a spokesperson for the Tax Authorities. According to him, it concerns a few tens of millions of euros.
