C&A Europe recruits two new executives

Clothing retailer C&A Europe has strengthened its management team. On Monday, the company announced that Suzanne McKenna will take over as chief range and sustainability officer on April 1. Two weeks later, Jason Morgan also joins the governing body: he has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

McKenna was most recently Global Managing Director at British shoe retailer Clarks. She previously held management positions at lingerie retailer Triumph and denim label Levi’s. In her future role, which previously held the title of “Chief Merchandise and Sustainability Officer,” she will be “responsible for C&A’s product portfolio and all sustainability-related issues,” the company said. “From C&A’s European hub in Düsseldorf, she will modernize the fashion company’s collection and keep an eye on the sustainability of the business model,” explained the clothing retailer.

Jason Morgan can also look back on a long career in the fashion industry. He comes from the Danish fashion jewelery retailer Pandora, where he held the post of Senior Vice President Global Merchandising. Prior to that, he held senior positions in the merchandising departments of well-known brands such as Gap, Burberry and Coach.

In his new role, he will be responsible for “the business processes of C&A Europe”, the company explained. His area of ​​responsibility therefore includes the areas of assortment planning, goods control, supply chain and logistics. As COO, Morgan will “take on an overarching role between the areas of product portfolio, finance, merchandising and consumer & digital”, explained C&A Europe.
