To date, BVB had only reported that Morey would “not be available for a few weeks” due to another knee injury.

According to the media report, it is internally assumed that Morey may be able to return to Westphalia training after the next international break in October.

Morey’s contract with BVB expires in the summer of 2024
After the second international break of the season, if Morey’s damaged knee heals accordingly, there could be another attempt to finally gain a foothold in BVB’s professional squad again.
Morey, whose contract with Borussia Dortmund expires after this season, has only made 18 Bundesliga appearances in four years at BVB, and he was allowed to play seven times in the Champions League.
