BVB wins in Frankfurt – Haaland outbursts have no consequences

Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund showed strong morale in the top game at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday evening and turned a 2-0 break into a 3-2. This time, BVB superstar Erling Haaland, who only managed a goal preparation, had only a manageable share in this important away win.

More conspicuous were several skirmishes that a visibly frustrated and aggressive Haaland fought with his Frankfurt opponents.

The Norwegian’s body language and mood had already deteriorated significantly in the second half, which was seen more often in the case of a deficit for his team at Haaland. If the goal machine still doesn’t hit it, things get uncomfortable.

Shortly before the end of the second half, there were several small Haaland freaks out, although BVB had actually turned the game around.

The first opponent was Frankfurt’s defensive boss Martin Hinteregger: When Jude Bellingham had just beheaded to equalize 2-2, Haaland stormed into the Frankfurter Tor to get the game device out of the net for a quick restart. He was pushed by the Austrian. The Dortmund star striker could not contain himself after this provocation, Hinteregger insulted clearly audibly with the words “F … you! F … ing idiot!”

After another loud dispute, referee Robert Schröder gave the two alpha animals a yellow warning.

BVB-Knipser Haaland stays at Eintracht without a goal

In stoppage time, the second heated scene: Haaland wants to shield the ball from the corner flag, but is kicked in the legs several times by Eintracht’s double goal scorer Rafael Borré. Haaland doesn’t put up with that, grumbles Borré in Spanish (“Que pasa?”, Translated: “What’s going on ?!”) and builds himself up in front of the SGE striker with blows to his own chest.

The referee showed a sure instinct in this situation and lets the Dortmund clippers get away with it. Instead of a possible yellow-red card, Haaland only traveled back to Dortmund with three immensely important points in their luggage.

In the home game against SC Freiburg on Friday evening (from 8:30 p.m.), the Norwegian wants to appear more as a goal scorer than as a contender.
