Defender Manuel Akanji from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund is said to be about to move to Manchester City, according to The Athletic magazine.
Former Dortmund players Ilkay Gündogan and Erling Haaland are already under contract with coach Pep Guardiola’s team.
According to the report, the English champions are said to be ready to pay up to 17.5 million euros for the Swiss player.
The 27-year-old’s contract in Dortmund expires at the end of the coming season. Akanji has been a sales candidate at BVB for some time.
