On the A73 near Beesel, the road to Nijmegen has been completely closed since Tuesday morning after an accident with four trucks. Rijkswaterstaat says that the road can only open again on Wednesday morning, partly because work was already planned on the same route. Traffic is diverted via the A2 and A67 near Eindhoven.
Currently, the longest traffic jam can be found on the A4 between Vlaardingen-Oost and Zoeterwoude-Dorp in the direction of Amsterdam. There is 28 kilometers of slow moving traffic, which causes a delay of about 25 minutes.
