A building of Icon Pra Health Sciences on the America road in Assen was evacuated for a short time tonight after a report of a strange, chemical air. The fire brigade and a hazardous substances (AGS) adviser arrived urgently on site to perform measurements.
The first report was made around 8:25 PM. The cause of the foreign air was not found. Three people were present in the building at the time of the report. No hazardous substances have been measured, but a weird scent in the air outlet. Where that scent comes from remains unknown.
Icon PRA Health Sciences is the largest institution for drug research in the Netherlands.
